Background
This website is owned and run by Therapy Training School. Since 2002 we have trained more than 2,000 professional therapists from around the world in a wide variety of complementary and holistic therapies.
Our high quality training materials have been designed to ensure that learning is easy and fun. All that you need to know in each therapy is explained with easy-to-follow steps. To further assist your learning we provide FREE access to online video clips of all techniques.
Our Diploma courses are accredited by the Guild of Beauty & Holistic Therapists and The International Natural Healers Association.
Our courses are also recognised by many complementary therapy organisations and insurance companies allowing successful students to practice professionally with confidence and integrity.
Our courses are ideal should you wish to run a private practice as a self-employed or mobile therapist. If however you intend to work within a salon or spa, particularly in central London (UK), you should ensure that our course diplomas are accepted by the establishment for which you wish to work. We also advise that you contact your local district council to find out what compliance may be required for you to practice as a therapist.
Our Home Learning Courses have been created complete with fully illustrated and annotated training manuals. There are no time limits when studying. You can take as long as you like. Students are required to complete an online theory test, client form and case studies. Upon successful completion students are awarded our accredited Therapy Training School Diploma.

We offer fantastic support services both during and after your study and training.
We do everything we can to make ensure that you are confident delivering the treatment you have learned. We also provide business mentoring to help you establish a successful therapy practice.

Who's who?
Karen Hemmings - Principal & Owner
My interest in Complementary Health therapies began in the mid-1980s with the study and practice of a broad range of healing therapies for my own personal health and well-being. I came to realise that there is an extraordinary potential for transformation which healing therapies can have on a person's quality of life.
Wanting to share these experiences with others I began to practice some of these therapies in 1991 and since 2002 in collaboration with my husband Karl Hemmings I have been expanding this practice to reach out to as many people as possible, not only in the UK but all around the world.
I believe that healing therapies should be accessible to everyone, everywhere in the world and I endeavour to offer information and training to enable and empower anyone who wishes to heal themselves and others.
Karl Hemmings - Managing Director and Web Master
I began Yoga studies in 1982 whilst studying Alexander Technique and music in London. Over the years I have practiced and taught many styles of yoga including Hatha, Vini, Kundalini, Power Yoga and others.
I studied various healing arts including Reiki and other forms of natural healing with various Asian, Middle Eastern and European masters and enthusiasts. In 1990 I began teaching yoga, reiki, and health & fitness. From 1995 I expanded my skills base into other areas including Ayurveda, Shamanism, Energetic Exercises (Qigong) and sound therapy.

They have all undergone our unique teacher induction training and are highly qualified, professional and the best in their field.
Accreditation
Our course Diplomas
You will be awarded a Diploma issued by our school. The Diploma is accredited by the GHT and recognised by specific insurers in the UK. You will be able to practice as a self-employed therapist or mobile therapist. Our courses are not VTCT or NVQ. Always check with your potential employer to ensure that this Diploma will be accepted by them.
