Ordering a Printed Manual
Once you have paid for your course you can also buy a printed version of the manual and have it posted directly to you via our publisher. This costs £18.06 + P&P.
How does Home Learning Work?A step-by-step guide
1. Purchase the electronic version of the course.
2. Download and print your electronic version of the manual & study guidelines from our website.
3. If you have problems printing the manual at home you can order a printed version of the manual and have it posted to you via our publisher.
4. Read the guidelines and course materials and then complete the test paper submitting it (electronically or by post) for marking.
5. If you have failed you may re-submit the test and try again. There is no limit to the number of times you can re-submit your test paper.
6. When you have passed your test you can complete your case study and submit it for marking.
7. You will be notified either by email or post of your results. If you have passed the course you will receive your Diploma (normally within 1 week of notification of success).
8. You are now ready to arrange insurance and start practicing professionally as a therapist.

This is the home learning version of our Reiki Level One training course and covers everything you need for self-treatments and for delivering therapy to friends, family and treasured pets.
Distance learning means that you can study this course from the comfort of your own home anywhere in the world with no deadlines or timescales.
This course is supported by online video clips that show you each of the techniques in detail.
How long does it take to complete this home study course?
It can take as little as 6 hours of study time to answer the test paper. Your case study can be completed in a couple of hours after you have practiced 21 days of self-treatment.

You can pay online or over the telephone using any debit or credit card. Our online payment service is secure. You can also pay via cheque
We will then send you a link to download your manual. You can choose to print this at home or else order a hardcopy manual directly from our publisher
Step Two
Study your manual and complete the test paper. This can be done either online or can be written by hand and then posted to us
Watch the online videos and study the various therapy techniques found in the manual. Do this until you are familiar with the techniques involved
Practice the therapy techniques upon family and friends until you are confident with the routine. Contact us at anytime for help and advice
Step Three
Complete your case study and submit it for marking. You will be notified of your result within just a few days, sometimes on the same day
Once you have been awarded a pass mark your Diploma will be posted to you directly within 3-5 business days
Obtain therapist insurance from Westminster Indemnity. Now you are fully qualified and insured and can offer this therapy professionally to the public

How does home learning differ from an attendance course?
During an attendance course you will be attuned on a one-to-one bases, you will instructed on techniques and you will be supervised and assessed as you practice them on the day of the course. There is a short written test and upon successful completion your diploma will be awarded at the end of the day.
A home learning course offers you the opportunity to study the techniques at home using the course manual and access to the online videos of techniques. Your distance attunement would take place at a time which is convenient for you. A test and case study are required and your diploma is awarded upon successful completion of the course.
Can I practice professionally with this Diploma Course?
You can only practice professionally once you have been trained and attuned to Reiki Level Two.
Is this course accredited?
Yes. Courses are accredited by The Guild of Holistic Therapists & Beauty Therapists as well as The International Natural Healers Association. Accreditation means that our course content has been appraised by external professional therapy associations and has been approved for professional therapy training purposes.
Do I need an Anatomy & Physiology Qualification to do this course?
No you don't.
What are CPD points?
CPD is an abbreviation for Continuous Professional Development. Sometimes if you are a member of a professional therapy organisation you need to undertake regular training to upkeep your membership. This most often works on a points system with different numbers of points awarded for different courses.
